Vitae Veritas' community of trained audio describers and tactile tour guides have a combined 30 years of extensive experience in audio description, touch tours and tactile-kinaesthetic tours, co-designing and delivering accessible arts engagement events for visual art exhibitions, short and longform films, live theatre productions, immersive live art, installations, arts/culture & community events & conferences, hybrid, place-based and participatory projects, in various forms, scales and length.
Vitae Veritas works in partnership with numerous companies, organisations, festivals, venues, independent artists and collectives, including local government, disability, not-for-profit, education & contributions to research and developments projects, in delivering capacity-building programs to realise and embed genuine access into workplace culture and collaborations, in process and production, strategically, operationally, creatively and aesthetically.
Our current major sector development partnership initiative focuses on access in dance and theatre- promoting artistic and leadership opportunities for b/Blind and vision impaired artists through co-developing and producing a national series of webinars, practice labs, professional development, creating and presenting new contemporary performance works, new access & engagement experiences for b/Blind and vision impaired, disabled and diverse audience.
